While our lead financial planners enjoy growing personal relationships with their clients, it takes a team to continue to provide our clients with exceptional financial planning and investment management services. Our team has also been growing in recent years, so there may be some new names and faces that you haven’t heard from yet. As 2021 comes to an end, we wanted to share some of our team member’s highlights from 2021 to help you to get to know us better.
Kevin Ervin was excited to travel more this year after the COVID vaccine became widely available. Kevin has been enjoying watching a new generation of leadership emerge within the firm and allowing them to take an increasing role in Market Street’s business decisions.
Jessica Bokhart and her husband, Brent, spent much of their year playing taxi service to all of their kids’ activities, including gymnastics, soccer, baseball, 4-H, and horseback riding lessons. They were able to enjoy some much deserved time off over Spring Break at Hilton Head Island and surprised the kids with a Disney World vacation just before Christmas.
Kyle Thompson has enjoyed watching his daughter get involved with a competitive cheer team which has become a passion for her. He likes seeing her grow her confidence in new skills and build relationships with her teammates. Professionally, Kyle has enjoyed watching our team continue to grow and see young advisors continue to improve their skills and lead more client relationships.
Aaron Williams and his wife, Cristy, are anxiously anticipating the birth of their second son in January 2022 (or any day now…). Aaron has enjoyed watching his eldest son prepare to become a big brother, including his belief that he has named his little brother.
Patrick Roberts was happy to finally enjoy traveling again. He, his wife, Shannon, and his parents were able to check off a bucket list item with a 4 day trip to the Grand Canyon. They stayed at the El Tovar Lodge on the rim of the canyon and enjoyed hiking along the rim and even a few miles into the canyon. It was an awe-inspiring trip!
Katie Fischer wrapped up a two-year term as the Treasurer for the Junior League of Indianapolis, which was a great learning experience for her. Her family enjoyed a vacation to Hilton Head Island in August where the kids loved the beach and riding bikes around the island.
Jared Defore spent a lot of time in his backyard this summer, building a clubhouse for his two sons and building a firepit for the family to enjoy on cool fall evenings. He also volunteered some of his evenings and weekends to coach youth sports. Jared and his wife, Jenna, also took the opportunity to travel this year, hitting 16 different states!
Austin Angel and his wife, Jackie, enjoyed a trip to Arizona and Utah. They spent their days hiking and doing lots of sightseeing including Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell, Zion National Park, and Scottsdale.
Drew Feutz and his wife, Amanda, became first-time homeowners in April. In May, Drew got to celebrate with Amanda as she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics.
Doug O’Neill is our newest team member! He moved back to Indianapolis in 2021 after some time in Florida. He joined us in August and has quickly added value with his attention to details and technical skills.
Meredith Schmeltz celebrated one year with Market Street in October! If you call our main phone line, you’re likely to hear Meredith on the other end. This year, her family took the opportunity to enjoy some travel to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks to see Half Dome and the amazing sequoias. Meredith and her husband also took a trip to Jamaica with some close friends and no kids!
Adriane Kulczar is another recent addition to our team; she celebrated her one year anniversary as a paraplanner at Market Street in July. Her family took three big trips this year, including a beach trip with the kids to North Carolina, a trip with friends to Jamaica, and a camping trip on Father’s Day to celebrate her father! She is grateful for her fun, sun-filled year!
While we also had our fair share of struggles this year, we are grateful for all the opportunities we had to enjoy activities with friends and family and the continued good health of our loved ones! We are always grateful for our wonderful client relationships! We look forward to continuing to serve you in 2022 and beyond! Thank you!
